Description
Possesses 19 years of supervisory and management experience working with at-risk youth in the private and governmental sectors. Extensive knowledge of the juvenile justice continuum (governmental and community) to include: measures of restorative justice managing secured environments and community programming and supervision. Additionally, thorough knowledge of the juvenile and family court, levels of institutional placement, detention diversion, and strategies for family reunification. Excellent ability in working closely with law enforcement, local governments and non profit organizations to ensure that the rehabilitative aspects of a child's care, with respect to public safety, are the driving factor in youth's treatment.
