Summary of Professional Experience: July, 2005 - April 30, 2016: Controller - MidContinental Chemical Company: * Manage a staff of 4 and perform controller duties of 3 companies, publishing financial statements, financial analysis, and all HR responsibilities, to name a few areas of responsibility. * Business grew from sales of $15 million to $85 million, and employees of 18 to 39 during this eleven year period. * Retired on 4-30-16 after getting company through process of being sold. Over ten years as controller for a Printing Company ($7 million in sales). At the time of hiring prior year sales were $3.5 million with a net loss of $330,000. Implemented accounting practices including but not limited to: 1. Budgeted Hourly Costs Model / Full Overhead Costs. 2. Value added financial analysis. The next year sales were flat but the company was profitable. The company went on to invest over $1.0 million in P & E sales grew as well as profits. This was valuable "hands on" experience as previous experience was as a financial analyst in large companies.
