I've been working for a co. for 10 years came up through the ranks to master plumber, my duties included service, estimates, billing (city work PHDC, HELP, ECA) scheduling jobs, preparing material, clearing parking for digs, overseeing each project. ac/heat installation and service, inspections, electrical work, customer service, getting permits and trouble shooting problems. my duties went 3x higher and my pay didn't 10 hour days and took work home with me and I just wanted to be compensated for the work I did I had the lowest call back ratio in the co, and went to others call backs and my pay stayed the same. I couldn't live off my income so when I asked for a pay hike I got a "theres no money for a raise 3 years no raise I just want what I derserve for the work I preform, so he let me go when I gave him a choice.
