Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) Reservoir Engineer Cabimas Venezuela May 2012 - May 2017 * Performed data analysis and provided recommendations to achieve four (06) new wells drilling two (04) re-drilling well and other maintenance operations in Lake Maracaibo. * Played a key role in the development and the integration of the sediment model with the structural model well model pressure analysis and reservoir calculation in a field of condensed gas exploration and carbonate reservoir of Oligocene-Miocene in the Gulf of Venezuela. * Designed the baseline production curve by wells 405 wells were evaluated to set up the gas production start point and its decline rate. * Analyzed well production performance and provided reservoir engineering support to assist completion engineering design and programs. Participated and interacted with Reservoir Engineers Flow assurance Engineers and other professionals in technical studies concerning oil and gas operations as assigned and elaborated budget preparation and monitored expenses and profitability of operated and non-operated fields. * Prepared estimated monthly production for the operated and non-operated fields. * Monitored the right functionality of the Production Operations Database ensuring that the data was aligned with the operation reports of the producing fields and interfaced with operators and partners for the Lake Maracaibo producing fields. * Selected the method of production wells identifying the best method that applies over 500 oil wells and controlling and monitored about 150 wells monthly that belong to 7 flow stations of gas and oil and made the gas lift balance to determine if the gas lift valves are operating right and if the casing and tubing pressure is the optimum achieving to recuperate 2000 oil barrels. * Made nodal analysis to optimize de oil and gas production through simulations in Pipesim and WellFlo Software and performed production modeling and identified off-trend wells and made recommendations for workover and artificial lift modifications. * Identified information needs (data and production records) required by field development. * Emitted judgment on the accuracy of production data based on the analysis and diagnosis of system characteristics ground-surface within a range of uncertainty set and determined the causes of the decline in volumes of oil and gas. * Evaluated the performance of production wells with respect to their potential and developed service programs wells. Kept interaction with Production Supervisors Production Foreman and Lease Operators to optimize production and supervising the economic analysis and participated in the homologation and standardization of the quality management system of Pdvsa (Standard iso-9001).
