Projects: As a design team member, completed 100% design of two underground stations, 1st/Central Station and 2nd/Broadway Station, of the Regional Connector Project (Design-Build) that will extend (1.9 mile addition) from Metro Rail's Little Tokyo/Arts District Station to the 7th St/Metro Center in downtown Los Angeles, allowing passengers to access the Gold, Blue, Expo, Red and Purple lines without transferring lines. Estimated Construction Costs: 1st/Central Station ($100M) and 2nd/Broadway Station ($150M). * 05/06 - 06/10, Senior Project Manager with GMID, Inc., Redlands, CA. Projects & Costs: Managed the design and production of various Church projects ($20M), Business/Industrial Parks projects ($10M), and high end Condominium projects including LDS Los Angeles Office/Warehouse ($3M), Del Rosa Business/Industrial Park, Highland, CA. ($6M), Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center, San Bernardino, CA. ($3M), Shantz Professors Park & Retail, San Bernardino, CA. ($20M, estimated). * 01/06 - 03/06, Senior Project Manager with SWA, Pasadena, CA. Project & Cost: Managed the construction administration including RFI's, Submittal Review, and Change Orders for Henry Mayo Hospital Project in Newhall, CA ($30M). * 08/02 - 01/06, Sr. Architect/Architectural Department Head with DMJM+HARRIS & DMJM+HN, Orange, CA. Projects: Managed the design, planning, production, and construction support services for the several transit projects including the following projects, among others: Oceanside-Escondido Passenger Rail System (Sprinter), North County Transit District, Oceanside, CA: Designed the vehicle maintenance facility comprising two light and heavy maintenance tracks, fueling station and wash facility, offices, and stores. The complete facility encompasses 21,000 SF. He also completed the design for fifteen stations serving this twenty-two mile mixed freight and passenger rail system. Stations incorporated a unique retractable gangway system to allow clearance required for freight operation at night, thus allowing level boarding for the DMU vehicles during the day. Gangways are operated remotely from the dispatch center and have numerous safety features for both station patrons and freight operations. KIM CY00 ROKFC PN52912, Multi-Story Administration Building (UNC/CFC/USFK), Yongsan, Korea ($30M, estimated): Completed the pre - conceptual design of new four (4) story headquarters including two levels of bunkers FY02 Standard Designs of 200 & 232 PN Barracks, Company Operations, Battalion and Brigade Headquarters, Various Locations, Korea ($20M, estimated): Designed new standards improved and enhanced from the Previous Standard Designs based on the Army's lessons learned. Completed these projects up to 90% - 100% stages. * 11/94 - 04/00, Senior Construction Project Manager with The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles.
