Description
Tracking Pearce Creek Confined Disposal Facility Modification and recording the success in reducing occupational injuries and maintaining compliance with pertinent regulations. Demonstrated research and problem solving skills. Researches translates and communicates governmental regulations in matters related to health and safety issues to supervisors. Coordinates communications between the site and regulatory agencies. Developing and implement site-specific Health and Safety programs and processes including emergency preparedness and fire protection safety risk assessments and safe working procedures for both office and non-office activities hazardous waste management required site permitting ergonomics contractor safety security access control manned guarding and crisis management. Working with the business operational managers to ensure that all operational activities are clearly identified and risks assessed to ensure safe working procedures are developed and any safety hazards are appropriately controlled (e.g. barriers and engineering controls) Being responsible for identification and timely submission of all applicable documentation. Supporting the facilities team to identify safety and security critical equipment and develop preventative maintenance plans to manage these effectively and compliantly. Working with the management team to review security status to ensure a compliant safe and secure facility. Supporting site emergency responses plan and incident management team. Support and provide guidance to the site safety team. Driving continuous improvement in developing and implement a comprehensive monthly training plan to cover both site induction orientations and task-specific safety training. Establish injury prevention initiatives focused on world-class health and safety performance. Ensures compliance with all safety programs.
