Five years of experience in the adult acute care nurse practitioner role. My background as a nurse practitioner includes inpatient and outpatient clinic experience. I have worked independently and collaboratively with physicians as a hospitalist acute care nurse practitioner and as a cardiologist nurse practitioner. The type of clients I have managed include complex medically patients with multiple comorbidities ranging in the ages from 18 to geriatric. In the cardiology clinic I have seen primary care patients as well which included anything and everything from chest pain diabetes to colds flu and urinary tract infections. I have managed clients for example including but not limited to those with congestive heart failure coronary artery disease aortic stenosis COPD pulmonary hypertension pacemakers valvular disorders kidney disease dialysis patients liver disease and end stage liver disease. My background includes 21 years of critical care nursing experience. I am seeking to become a valued member of a professional health care team or organization whose focus is assessment diagnosis treatment and evaluation of clients where patient outcome is paramount while balancing productivity with quality of care.
