QUALIFICATIONS Project Management: Ability to plan, communicate, coordinate and execute special project activities and packaging design, sourcing, testing and phase-in events effectively with customers, associates and the supply chain. Supply Chain Management: Manages product sub-suppliers and packaging suppliers and fabricators to meet company goals and objectives. Mitigates problems and drives speedy corrective action as needed. Design Management: Experience developing engineered solutions in the following areas: * Automotive component packaging in returnable and expendable materials. * Durable goods: appliance, HVAC, outdoor power equipment. * In-process containers. * Special applications: integrates packaging designs with special conveyance and process requirements: robotic load/unload, forklift, basiloid, clamp-truck, power conveyor, auto strapping and stretch-wrap equipment. Purchasing, Materials & Logistics Management: Establishes and supports company objectives through competitive bidding, negotiations, material-control techniques and logistics strategies. Oversight of company 3PL provider. Product Identification Management: Administration of internal and external bar coding / data requirement to various points of distribution and ultimately the customer. Quality Management: Experience in supporting the following areas: TS 16949 / QS-9000 / ISO-9001: Certified Lead Auditor. Author of procedures and work instructions. * Root cause analysis and CA/PA via 8-D reporting and alike. * Issuance of detailed packaging specifications and critical characteristics. * Bar code label, lot-control & verification scanning systems implementation and training. Equipment Management: Experience in the research, procurement and coordination of installation, maintenance and training on fully and semi-automatic strapping equipment modules. Additional experience gained in material handling and bar code equipment specification, procurement, installation, training and maintenance.
