Please help!!! I am in the process of trying to reinstate my LCSW license.I had been a LCSW for 20 years but when I moved here ,found out that Va. doesn't do reciprocity and when I called the social work board right after I moved here was given the information that I would "have to start all over again"with my supervision.Didn't have the money to pay for 2,000 hrs. of supervision.So for the last 2 years have struggled in a minimum paying retail job.When I recalled the board again about 3 months ago, found out that I had been given wrong information!! So I have completed 62 CEU's in 3 weeks but will need to find employment where I can be supervised by an LCSW.There are hardly any positions that I can find that will take someone who will only need 360 hours for a fulltime position and the few that I have applied for do not call me back.I have valuable skills to bring to the table and really want to reinstate my license.Can you call me at 314/578/3225.
