Description
SUMMARY Adjunct Professor of Business Administration with broad range of teaching experience. Classes taught range from Business Communication to Corporate Finance. When I began teaching, I believed the most important thing I could do was to teach students all that I knew. After a few years of teaching adults, I revised my goal to teach students all that was important to me. As I gained further experience, I learned that the most important aspect of teaching is to teach students what they can learn Helping students succeed, of course, is the most important mission of any teacher. First, I help students understand assignments and help them understand how important it is to develop the organizational skills to complete their assignments with quality and timeliness. However, the most important thing any teacher can do to help students succeed is to inspire them. If you can inspire students, many of the pragmatic problems students face seem to be less daunting to them. Communication is the operative word. If I am teaching an online course, it is very important to lay out the ground work, define what is expected and follow up quickly.
