Accomplishments I have the ability to adapt and quickly become an effective member of an inside sales team. In my past positions at Novaspect SPG, Swanson Flo-Systems and Riley Valve Services, Inc., due to my seasoning and experience, I soon became a valuable asset and was able to get down to work with a minimum of training and orientation, rapidly building knowledge of these company's respective product lines and processes. I won performance awards and was also awarded performance-based bonus money for my work. At Swanson Flo-Systems I won the 2005 "Million Dollar Club" Inside Award for my sales team's sales performance for that year. At Novaspect SPG I successfully implemented a quoting and quote-tracking system, and also supervised the creation of a new inventory system and valve assembly staging and component tracking area in 2002 and 2003. At Riley Valve Services, Inc. I helped to successfully integrate all the Michigan-based overpressure protection business into the inside sales daily workload in 2007 and 2008 (this integration had effectively doubled the Riley inside department workload). At Puffer Sweiven I was able to maintain and expand a small-customer territory from $800K to $1.2 million in just one year I received not only a performance-based bonus, but also a $2K raise in addition! Then I came to work for TWC The Valve Company in the summer of 2015 neither TWC nor I were certain how the new position of Parts Sales Specialist would work out. TWC's efforts had not proved up to the challenge in the past. I am however proud to say that together we sold over $922K of Walworth parts from an ad hoc start! In the Parts Sales Specialist position we had blended the duties of a production supervisor and an inside salesperson. And we did this all without keeping a scrap of inventory! It was a great success. Unfortunately, the Valve Division didn't do as well.
