QUALIFICATIONS: Mr. Heyob is a highly accomplished Electrical and Software Engineer (MSEE Control Systems) with focus on ISR video-metadata processing, algorithm development, materials process automation, computational methods and control systems. He was SME for the Primary Image Capture Transform Element (PICTE) software suite. Lead design and implementation of major revision of PICTE software where multiple instances of PICTE were integrated into a central process scheduling, control and status system, then ported entire PICTE to CentOS/Linux. Outstanding vision and strategy in applied research, autonomous data mining/modeling and laboratory process improvement. Excellent communication skills evidenced in multiple USAF proposals with total awarded value exceeding $4.5M. He was instrumental in securing first Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) enhancement phase contract ever awarded by USAF. Experienced in IT, computer systems, power systems and electrical hardware system integration focused on reduced client cost. Team leader and mentor with ability to gain management support, propose and lead change. Mr. Heyob patented a materials process control system that integrates data acquisition and data dissemination promoting laboratory collaboration, known as InfoScribe Data Management System.
