Managed Engineers, Supervisors as well as Touch Labor. Work with all levels of company management and departments to get the job done. * ISO 9001/2008 QMS registration, maintenance and audit. Oversee EHS Program. * Drawings and procedures review and sign off. * Expert in dealings with global suppliers as well as within US. Supplier selection, qualification (audit), and management. Major overseas suppliers are located in S. Korea, China, Brazil, Norway, England, France, Germany, Italy, Canada First article, production, documentation, nonconformance, schedule and cost management. Expert in dealings with Certifying Authority globally (DNV, ABS, BV ). * Direct/Perform to make sure Customer/Project requirements/specifications are in compliance and properly performed from start to finish. Hands on throughout the process. * Lean Manufacturing. KPI driven QA/QC organizations. 6 Sigma trained. Green Belt projects completed. Drive continuous improvement internally as well as at suppliers' globally. * Expert in Electronics manufacturing and assembly. New Product Introduction (NPI). Small to large scale SMT/Through-hole processing. Harnesses, cables and box assemblies. Former Naval Weapons Center certified "Category C" high reliability solder expert/trainer as well as IPC-A-610, J-Std-001 trainer. * Numerous successful on-site foreign assignment experiences. Defense: Korean Air Force F4 Laser Weapon Guidance System offset program, Egyptian Air Force sidewinder on-site production program (twice), Korean Navy Aegis Destroyer Power Conversion System. Offshore: Oversee Fabrication of Mooring System for FPSO's and Offshore Platforms in Korea, Europe, USA and Brazil. Installation and commissioning of system at shipyards (HHI, DSME, SHI ) and mooring at final destinations. Oversee/Direct/Perform project requirement compliancy from start to finish. Compilation and submission of MRB (Manufacturing Record Book). Offshore projects include USAN, CLOV, JSM, Mariner, Delta House, Na Kika, Mad Dog, Hebron, MoHo Nord, Johan Svedrup, Ichthys and many others. * Lead Failure Review Board (FRB) as well as Material Review Board. Lead cross functional failure root cause investigations internally as well as suppliers' and delivered equipment at customer's site globally. Issue Corrective actions and preventive actions as appropriate and follow up through closure. * Supplier selection, survey, qualification, management and maintenance. Expert in electro-mechanical manufacturing arena to castings, forgings, heavy fabrication, machining, welding and everything in between. * Customer interface. Successfully organized, conducted and concluded numerous meetings (Pre-Award, kick-off. Pre-Production (PIM, PPM), Resolve/attend non-conformance/process issues and major witness and hold points in various subjects/products with customers and/or suppliers.
