Accomplishments * Pragmatically Resolved a Reoccurring Manufacturing Yield Issue Fluidics Manufacturing cell by Procuring, Redesigning, Refurbishing and Installation of a MRC 903 Sputtering System in Replace of Traditional Plating Processes. This Resulted in an Increase of FPY from 46% to 98%. * Implemented a Modular Design Process within the Fluidics Cell that Pinpointed to the Exact Problem by Applying Root Cause Techniques such as Fault Tree, Fishbone, and 5why's * Increasing Productivity by Reorganization and Utilization of "pull" manufacturing in replace of traditional "push" batch manufacturing by Utilizing Lean Manufacturing Principles, using tools, such as Continuous flow, Heijunka, Kanban, Standardize Work Takt Time, and Gemba Walks. * Designed and Implemented $135,000 3000-gallon Automated Batch Wastewater Treatment System and eliminated the potential of $10,000/day fine. * Publications, ASU Energy Analysis and Diagnostic Center under contract with the U.S. Department of Energy: Reports No. 68, 75, 77, 82, 86, and 92
