SUMMARY Over 23 years experience with expertise in product development, management and manufacturing in all phases of ODM/OEM and vertically integrated design and development. Extensive experience in PC Thin wall injection molding, TPE/TPU Over-molding, sheet metal design and manufacturing. Identify project risks and implements mitigations plans with strong engineering background and continuous improvement of development process, practices and initiatives. Leader and technical asset to support engineering disciplines through the development cycle of definition, specification, supplier audit/management, manufacturing and quality management. and Responsible to manage the new development projects from design concept to production and follow up DFM for manufacturing process. Also, take a leading role in driving the improvement of productivity and quality of injection molding process. * Lead the new development projects of plastic enclosure from conceptual ID to tooling utilizing 3D CAD, 3D printing, prototypes, drawings and DFM for tooling process. * Collaborate with supply chain management, manufacturing and quality on material selection, 2nd sourcing tool qualification and failure analysis * Lead Micron suppliers to design and product world-class plastic tooling, Manage tool design and build, tool approval and process development. * Institute continuous process improvement measures from initial product design through production ramp of new products. * Train engineers at supplier plants in Asia to utilize new tooling materials and fabrication techniques. . * Develop collaborative relationships with suppliers through training and quality control visits, advice supplier plats on maintaining correct controls on the processes. * Train Standard Operation Procedure of new development projects prior to the mass production. * Educate and support the cross functional groups in production specifications, test and qualification procedures. global regional offices for product requests. Identify and manage issues/conflicts provide management escalation balance the business needs versus technical constraints. Responsible for communicating technology area updates to the global VFI HW and collaborating with other site R&D groups and Supply chain. * Lead critical design reviews on all VFI products to make sure lessons learned and critical design guidelines and quality criteria are met. * Creating and maintaining DFx checklists and Design Guidelines for each functional areas. Manage custom projects Mini-PLC and sustaining project data bases. * Support and coordinate some improvements in VefiFone's PLC process and documentation of changes and cross functional team communications with worldwide design centers for R&D systems. * Work with engineering teams to provide project plans coordinate and track project activities achieve project goals.
