SUMMARY: Around 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer/Build and Release Engineer in the field of release automation for java to achieve Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous delivery (CD). * Installed and configured Nexus to manage the artifacts in different Repositories and handling dependency management using nexus private repository. * Also had experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Cloud Provisioning. * Experience in Install, Configure and Administer GIT. * Administration of Jenkins server - Includes setup of Jenkins Masters, Configure builds, and deployment automation. * Involved in installation of Jenkins on Linux Machine to implement multiple parallel builds through a build farm. * Experience in branching, tagging and maintaining the version across the environments working on Software Configuration Management (SCM) tools like Subversion (SVN) and GIT * Involved in managing other version control tools like GIT. * Strong knowledge / experience in creating Jenkins CI pipelines. * Automated the build process through Jenkins. * Experience in approaches and tooling for automated build, delivery and release of the software. * Pushing the code to the GitHub to automate the release. * Administration various environments in software development life cycle (SDLC) Windows, Ubuntu, Red hat Linux, SUSE Linux and CentOS. Experience supporting Chef Environment with Multiple Servers and involved in developing manifests. * Manage AWS EC2 instance using Elastic load balance and Auto Scaling groups. * Worked for Agile Continuous Integration Environment and automated the whole process. * Developed Python and shell scripts for automating the build and release process. * Hands on experience in configuring and maintaining various Webservers like Apache and App servers like Tomcat, Weblogic, JBoss. * Experience in using Tomcat and Apache web servers for deployment and for hosting tools. * Continuous integration and automated deployment and management using Jenkins, Puppet, Maven, Ant or comparable tools. * Extensive experience with software Build automation and standardization tools like MAVEN and GRADLE. * Setting up Linux/Unix environments for various applications. . * Good Knowledge in CI (Continuous Integration) and CD (Continuous Deployment) Methodologies. * Configuring network services like DNS/NTP for UNIX/LINUX servers. * Possesses excellent Communication, interpersonal, relationship management and analytical skills.
