I am the founder and Chief Architect for Augmented Enterprise, Inc., a company that creates enterprise solutions using cutting edge game technology like augmented and virtual reality as well as artificial intelligence. I am also an Enterprise and Software Architect with 30 years’ experience in the IT industry. I have established the Enterprise Architecture practice at my last two employers. I have managed architects and developers for the last fifteen years of my career. I documented the guiding principles, standards and technology roadmaps for various IT groups. I have also designed and coded several commercial software products and created many strategy roadmaps for various IT groups. I am a subject matter expert on Integration and Software Design as well as business process improvement. Apart from my architect skills, I can also program in several object-orientated languages including Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, and C++. I have authored several white papers on subjects that include Enterprise Architecture, Business Process Management, Service Orientated Architecture and the use of advanced Enterprise Service patterns like Publish-Subscribe. I frequently present on technical subject matter to my current IT department and have performed training, both in-house (on C# coding), and for IBM in international destinations like South Africa and India. I also have experience in pre-sales of software products as well as acting as a mediator between technical groups and career coach for IT staff.
