Qualification Summary: * I have over 20 years of experience in the engineering field, ranging from structural engineer, group and division project leader, to engineering manager, and as project and construction manager. I have successfully completed more than 40 projects, worldwide, most recent, a portfolio of Capital Projects in the Gulf Region, I also have project experience in Green Energy and C.C. Power Plants, and Oil and Gas Industry. Main skills are in design coordination and management. * As project manager, I successfully implemented the execution of the projects following from the conceptual design to the construction phase, controlling all aspects of projects, from preparation of proposals, negotiations of contracts, budget analyses to scheduling and completion. Wide knowledge of cost analysis and project planning and control. * As construction manager, I work with the engineering team to improve the quality of our products in the field, I work to develop of scheduling for all the aspects of the construction phase like, prefabrication, installation and assembly of piping works, civil structures and equipment installation, startup and commissioning. Successful in the areas of procurement activities, bidding, specifications, shipping and customs procedures. I work close with the contractors to achieve the goal of zero incidents, project execution as specified and controlling the execution cost to minimize the deviations from the budget. * Have been working in the creation of initial QA/QC process methods for coal mines, petroleum production facilities, electrical power plants and petrochemical installations, I have a Green Belt Six Sigma certification. * My experience as designer includes design of structures, foundations, turbine pedestals with dynamic analysis, development and supervision of multidisciplinary interfaces and coordination of detail engineering, along with basic engineering design can conceptual design. * Served as Director of the Regional Coordinating Education Unit for the Executing Infrastructure Zulia State (A World Bank project for Venezuela), and as Professor of the Chair of Concrete and Structures I at Rafael Urdaneta University (Venezuela) from 1992-1996.
