SUMMARY * 4 years of IT experience as Programmer Analyst and Quality Assurance Analyst. * Hands on experience in Claims Handling and Guidewire- Policy Centre 9.0 with good domain knowledge of P&C Insurance. * Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills * Expertise in entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software development models like Waterfall model, Iterative model and Agile model. * Experience in analysis, design, implementation and testing of Enterprise web applications with strong knowledge in Object Oriented Programming Concepts (OOPS), Object Oriented Analysis Design (OOAD), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), N-tier web based (client-server) applications, UML and Object Modelling, creating Use case diagrams, Data flow diagrams, Business flow diagrams, Architectural and Navigational diagrams. * Proficient in requirement elicitation, transforming business requirements into software requirements and design specifications, release management and the related documentation. * Expertise in preparing Test plan, creating and reviewing Test Cases, Test Execution, handling Test Data, Defect Management, preparation of regression suite, Test management using HP ALM/QC, TestLink * Hands on experience in Web API testing using HP QTP, HP Service Test and SoapUI * Knowledge in utilizing various testing types such as Functional, Smoke, Integration, Regression, End to end and User Acceptance testing (UAT) during testing life cycle. * Experience in Microsoft .NET framework 3.5/4.0, ASP.NET 3.5/4.0, Visual C# 3.0, VB.NET 10.0, WCF 3.5/4.0, HTML5/CSS, JavaScript, REST/API web services for both server side and client side web programming. * Good database management skills and experience in writing SQL Queries, Stored Procedures including databases like SQL and DB2. * Proficient in handling production support tasks.
