Description
SUMMARY Years of successful design experience in portable gas detectors, commercial telecommunications equipment, high volume portable wireless products and CPEs, * In-depth knowledge of new product developments in all aspects of mechanical packaging, from design conceptualization to production, intrinsic safe mechanical packaging, EMI/RFI shielding, water ingress protection up to IP67, 7 ft. drop test, high temperature component design and 3-D surfacing design. * Experience in sheet metal, single shot and two-shot injection moulding, die-casting, extrusion, elastomeric material, LCD module and enclosure/rack designs. Experience in working with suppliers in Asia region. * Proficient in Pro/E (Creo2), PTC Windchill, SolidWorks, PDM Works, MS Project, JIRA, SAP, Green Belt in Design for Six Sigma technique, DFMEA, Design for Manufacturability and Assembly, mechanical and assembly drawing standard. Familiar with worst case /statistical tolerance analysis. * Ability to apply ANSYS/Cosmos finite element method for structural and heat transfer analyses.
