Analyzed materials to be used to ensure signage and disposal methods, map out and implement emergency evacuation plans to include location for first-aid kits and fire points. Consult building codes, government regulations and other emergency response agencies in order to ensure that the workplace is compliant with health, safety and environmental regulations. Responsible for presenting and explaining plans, as well as conducting training programs. Site Safety Inspection Responsible for the oversight and management of inspecting site conditions to determine if hazards are present and to establish procedures and policies to overcome those hazardous situations. Looks for broken equipment, defective tools and other potential hazards, focusing on worker safety. Ensuring the right type of personal protective equipment (PPE) is being used that workers are competent in operating and using of tools and equipment. Review each Subcontractors Safety Program and ensure that it meets or exceeds the project Safety Program requirements, conduct regular (daily) jobsite and work area inspections safety surveys, and prepares written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective action or preventive measures where indicated and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented. Conduct formal weekly jobsite inspections and complete the safety checklist noting safety violations and corrective actions. Record, notify and prepare written report of any violations or unsafe practices to Subcontractors for immediate correction actions. Stop and address any violation or unsafe practice of safety.
