This SCOPE OF WORK - Managed the national marketing and communications functions of the nation's industry leader in interior signage. Personally responsible for marketing, sales and customer care for national brands with multi-million sales objectives. Motivated a 30-member team comprised of national account executives, a national order processing center, customer service, production artists and the creative team across multiple national locations. Responsible for the creative direction, brand development, brand positioning, brand protection, strategic planning, new product development and launch, budget management, customer service, and employee recruitment, training, evaluation, motivation, compensation, and benefits. KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS: * Led team to achieve and exceed national corporate sales records. * Developed the company's first international distribution plan, recruited and vetted possible distribution points. * Active member of the corporate operating committee and ex-officio member of the executive committee of the board of directors. * Established innovative marketing initiatives increasing sales by over $100,000 in the first year. * Co-authored and launched the corporate mission, vision, and strategies. * Invited as a guest columnist for industry periodicals and spoke on the national stage regarding innovative products and opportunities. * Introduced a quality assurance program titled "Kilroy was here." Program metrics showed a 30% decrease in quality issues and flaws. * Personally secured the largest single order in company history, exceeding $1.3 million. * Acted as visiting director to satellite production plants and retail locations in New York City, Ogden Utah, and allowed the satellite facility management team to engage in management training at headquarters and provided coverage for satellite management personal leaves.
