SUMMARY To secure a position in the discipline of manufacturing engineering to assist a stable and growing manufacturing company with its business goals, while continuing to learn and grow in my field of study ACCOMPLISHMENTS Production Operation Improvement Increased production in a gear sub-department to produce over 700 lap and tested gear sets in an 8-hour shift (normally producing 500-600 gear sets) following a floor plan and machine layout change. To keep the associates knowledgeable, flexible with change and diverse in the department, I have implemented a daily operation rotation plan. This also helps with fatigue reduction, ergonomics, and safety. 25% downtime reduction and 15% OEE improvement on a critical operation through implementation and leadership of Performance Improvement Team (PIT) meetings.
