Key Results: * Responsible for start-up a new facility from ground-up which included installation of all equipment, hiring of teammates, training all the employees in the metal processes as well as Firestone philosophies and standards, obtaining proper permits from the city of Reno and state of Nevada, and set up of new vendors. * Maintained a high level of quality and safety throughout the plant with four years of zero recordables and loss time injury. * Helped introduce ISO14001 EMS and ISO9001 QMS to teammates. * Migrated to a new operating system from SBClient to TinyTerm and SAP. * Reduced landfill waste by 90% * Championed the implementation of bar code inventory tracking system * Organized special project to build relationship with local charity to support Bridgestone America's vision of corporate citizenship in the community * Able to effectively motivate and focus teammates at Reno facility during the closing of the plan * for a full-time manager.
