COVER LETTER: To Whom It May Concern: Re: Richard Bauer Richard Bauer was employed by RCS Empowers, Inc. from May 19, 1993, until March 11, 2017. During his employment with RCS, Richard served as our agency's Vice President/Business Services for many years, transitioning into a new role as Vice President/Purchasing in 2015, and then, into his most recent role as Purchasing/Inventory Control Manager. Unfortunately, due to budget reductions, his position with RCS was eliminated. In Richard's position as Vice President/Business Services, he was responsible for the full financial management of the organization. His specific duties included supervising the accounting and IT departments, which involved oversight of all accounts receivables and payables, daily cash management, and computer operations. In addition, Richard prepared the agency's annual budget, worked with department coordinators to manage their budgets, prepared and presented financial reports to the Board of Directors, and ensured that the agency's computer software and hardware needs were being met. More recently, Richard's duties focused on inventory control and purchasing of raw materials for the agency's various business operations. During Richard's employment, he displayed a good knowledge of his position, was dependable, and very cooperative. He always maintained positive interaction with his staff and co-workers, as well as with the individuals with disabilities served at RCS. Richard was very dedicated and willing to do whatever was needed to fulfill his job responsibilities. Even though Richard's position was eliminated, he displayed a commitment to his position and truly wanted what was best for the agency.
