SUMMARY: * 30 years of experience with diverse range of technical and management experience in the drug, cosmetic and medical device business. * Experienced in leading and managing Six Sigma/Lean process improvement projects. * Use of high level business process mapping to diagnose gaps and find opportunities for process improvement. * Strong background in product formulation and reverse engineering techniques. * Experience in manufacturing outsourcing and technology transfer to China, India, Canada, Mexico Costa Rica and US. * Strong Design and Change Control knowledge. * Familiar with 21 CFR 210/211, 21 CFR 820, ISO 9001:200, ISO 13485:2003. * Good interpersonal, communication technical skills. * Bilingual English and Spanish. Operation in Quality, Cost, Delivery & Inventory. * Deployed Rolled Throughput Yield program, taught/implemented Standard Work with Business Team Leaders with the objective of producing products without defects and without rework. * Work closely with the Operation/Production Managers, Tiger Teams, and various other functions within Global Operations manufacturing. * Provide supplier guidance to ensure consistency of best practices, supplier compliance, pricing, and delivery requirements. * Developed 2nd source suppliers' strategy for critical components products and components. * Implemented Kanban for key SKUs achieving 100% OTD. * Sponsored the manufacturing continuous improvement programs via performance measurement, 5S, visual mgmt, mistake proofing, Quick Changeover (QCO), standard work, Total productive maintenance (TPM), 6 sigma, and other relevant tools. Engineering R&D and Marketing across the global business to ensure project and product launches are done on time within budget. * Promote manufacturing process improvement resolve quality issues and stimulate low cost initiatives by qualifying equivalent raw materials and components. * Serve as technical leader for the Skincare and OTC Product Line for process capability cost improvement and product performance employing Six Sigma techniques when applicable.
