A detail-oriented self-starter, I would bring to your company a broad range of skills, including: * Follow standards for GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) * A high level of understanding in adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Federal Transit Administration (FTA), state, federal, and local guidelines. * Joint Venture/Lump Sum/Cost Plus/Cost Plus Fixed Fee * A broad understanding of a variety of accounting and ERP software packages (JD Edwards, Deltek 6.1, Oracle E Business Suite 2006) * CPAR certified with at least 8 years of hospital medical billing and revenue cycle recognition, including QA Analyst and Software support (Premis312 (CIS/NDC), Idx, Star, Gerber Alley (Hboc) * Stock Plan Administration * Inventory Control & Purchasing * A broad familiarity with tax preparation including corporation, franchise, sales, and income tax * Annual report preparation * Revenue Cycle Recognition * Intercompany Reconciliation * At least 10 years of hands-on experience in Month end and Year end close I would welcome the opportunity to further discuss this position with you.
