Provide clinical support for students new graduate nurses and newly hired nurses as a trained nurse preceptor. Provide education assistance to the education department including one-on-one meetings with new hires and new graduates to discuss their needs and help identify any additional education required in order to ensure a smooth transition into the system and their new roles. Assist with curriculum development to meet system wide education requirements. Lead panel discussions during new employee orientation to help address employee concerns and problem areas. program development Development and implementation of an interventional fellow training program to improve the transition for new cardiology fellows through establishment of unit expectations patient flow protocol resource identification and clarification of policies and procedures pertinent to daily work.
