Summary of Qualifications and Duties: Supervise a staff of (5) that works with Dually Diagnosed and Substance Abuse Clients (30-50). Interview applicants/ conduct intake assessments and provide orientation to clients on program requirements. Provide substance counseling to individuals, families, and groups. Conduct educational groups/Provide service providers as needed/ Provide crisis intervention and counseling/Develop recovery plans/Intense outreach to the community and educational programs/ Coordinate hiring process that includes interviewing applicants and make hiring recommendations. Provide orientation and ongoing training to staff and or/clients. Supervise activities of staff and students that includes assigning duties. Monitor the performance of staff and students and initiates disciplinary actions that includes recommendations for improvement and/or corrective action. Assist and monitor staff in maintaining employment related credentials and/or updating their requirements. Provide continual support and coaching to employees and/clients. Coordinates the activities of the program's team that includes facilitating communication between disciplines and assuring high quality of services rendered. Attend multiple trainings to stay abreast new and upcoming avenues in the mental health and substance abuse field. Assist clients with resources to appropriate public entities such as (TANF), SSI, SSDI, SSA, GA, Housing, Food, Medical resources, Medi-Cal and Healthy Families Pre and Post Follow up Maintenance of Legal Documents, Coordinate Logistics and Have Expert Level Customer Service/ Computer Skills and expertise in accurate charting.
