CAREER SUMMARY Since receiving my Bachelor's degree from NC State, I have worked in both industry and academic settings. My industry experience deepened my understanding of how parts are manufactured in addition to the importance of promoting manufacturability, serviceability, and design for assembly in the design process. My time in academia gave me the opportunity to manage people as the leader of a research team and a student club in addition to affording me the opportunity to teach younger students the lessons I had taken from industry. I have a passion for design, several years of welding and machining experience, and am not afraid to get my hands dirty if necessary.
