Experience Summary * ISTQB certified Professional with 7+ years of experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance in multiple domains including HealthCare, E-Commerce & Banking. * Expertise in testing and quality assurance of software applications in Core Java, J2EE. * Performs in-depth reviews, Black-Box testing, System testing, Integration testing, Usability testing, Compatibility testing, Creation and Execution of Test Scripts and Test Plans, ad hoc testing, workflow testing and bug reporting. * Extensive knowledge of Software development life cycle (SDLC) and Software testing life cycle (STLC). * Strong deployment skills in Apache Tomcat, Weblogic, and Apache Server. * Sound understanding of HTML, CSS, Java Scripting. * Sound understanding of Automation via Selenium * Expertise in database testing with a strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle, Stored Procedures, and Functions. * Expert level of test and defect management tools such as JIRA, TestLink, Quality Centre, and Bugzilla. * Extensive knowledge of project management and build automation tool like Apache Maven and Version Control system like SVN and VSS. * Strong experience working in Unix/Linux environment * Extensive experience with planning and executing projects of various sizes as well as coordination with on-shore clients and counterparts. * Working on scrum and sprints in Agile Methodology * Excellent learning capabilities and attitude. * HIPAA Privacy & Security Certified Professional Current Responsibilities * Understanding business requirements and sharing the acquired knowledge among other team members. * Creation and modification of test cases, test plans, effort estimates and other QA artifacts. * Deployment of builds on Tomcat server (UNIX Environment) * Responsible for Quality and timely delivery of test modules as per the requirements specified in documents and the project plan. * Daily update to management & client regarding progress/issues. * Mentoring Individuals to bridge the gap between the organization and personal goals. * Creation of HIPPA Compliant 834, 999, 820 and 864 EDI files. * Creation and execution of functional and non-functional test scenarios and test cases based on User Stories through test management tool TestLink. * Tracking the testing progress using TestLink Graphs/Reports and updated the Project Manager on weekly progress of testing and Bug reporting through defect management system JIRA. * Testing of backend jobs to ensure seamless integration with respective modules. * Overseeing and managing the deployment of various software modules on UNIX environment.
