KEY QUALIFICATIONS: Patricia Frederick completed a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2013 from the Henley Business School, UK. She is also the holder of a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) research degree and a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) Honors degree, both from The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad. The MBA, which draws on her lubricant plant management experience, provides the knowledge and insight into the management of people, finances, systems and processes, corporate finance and governance, strategic marketing, leadership and change, and reputation and relationships, all within the ever-changing global business environment. Patricia has several years experience both in Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE), Quality Management Systems (QMS) and standards implementation and maintenance, lab management and analytical work, data management, and two years experience in plant and production management She has most recently performed as the Executive Assistant at Window Wears LLC. In her previous role as an Environmental Advisor with BG Trinidad & Tobago (BG T&T), Patricia provided ISO 14001 certified Environmental Management System (EMS) and technical support, to both the onshore and offshore operations, with the goal of managing and minimizing environmental risks. As the Plant Manager at Shell Trinidad Ltd, she was responsible for all production and process units within the constraints of budget and production requirements, and within stringent HSSE and quality performance targets, governed by Shell and International Standards. As the QA/HSSE Supervisor, Patricia was required to provide QA services in support of the Lube oil blending plant (LOBP) operations according to the Shell International Petroleum Company (SIPC) Lubricants Quality System to improve the ISO 9002 QMS and to manage the equipment and resources in the Lab to provide service levels required for the LOBP operations. Implementing, maintaining and monitoring the rigorous HSSE standards required by Shell were the main focus as the HSSE Supervisor. Patricia has a wealth of experience in quality assurance, in particular, ISO 9000 implementation and maintenance, quality auditing, lab supervision and management, conducting laboratory analyses and strategic business management. Patricia is a RAB/QSA ISO 14001:2004 Certified Auditor, OHSAS 18001 certified Auditor and an ANSI/RAB ISO 9000:2000 certified Auditor. Patricia is IT literate, capable of effectively utilizing the Microsoft Office suite of products and has excellent oral and written presentation skills, communication and organizational skills and supervisory skills. She is capable of working alone or as a team member, as required. Having interacted with staff of all levels on HSSE and quality issues her people skills is good and is continuously improving.
