CAREER HIGHLIGHTS * Managed a 15 Million dollar radar program for a foreign military sales customer. Responsible for development, manufacturing and on time delivery of product to the customer. Responsible for program status, schedule, risks and costs including weekly customer meetings and monthly meetings with company senior management to discuss earned value, manpower allocation and overall program status. * Managed the Radar System Division Obsolescence Program for Receiver Transmitter Controller, Analog to Digital and Servo Pre-amp boards design, development and manufacturing. * Managed the Core Software Program for the Radar System Division. Generated Core software releases with assigned features per release based on company strategy. * Risk Manager for the CP-143G Radar System, responsibilities include identification of program risks, risk mitigation tasks, internal and customer meetings to discuss status, as well as weekly reporting of status to Senior Management. * Managed a 1.5 Million dollar Software Program for the US Coast Guard. Implemented software interface changes including different sector blanking requested by the Coast Guard. * Lead for all technical and programmatic aspects of a $30M Mission Management Computer for the Triton Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Navy Program. On time delivery of three fully qualified operational systems with support equipment. Successful lab, ground and flight tests integration. Provide guidance to System Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) lead managers and engineers. Provide technical and contractual interface with suppliers. Successfully generated presentations and presented to the customer. Awarded with a Timely Awards Plan (TAP) certificate. * Lead for Triton Mission Computer Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) proposal and Subcontractor procurement package development resulting in earlier LRIP program award by the customer. * Managed engineering personnel to ensure on time delivery of avionics equipment required for five aircraft. Avionics products included Navigation System, Radar, Mission Computer, Multi-Function Display Unit, Autopilot System, Radios and Control Panels. * Responsible for the E-2C aircraft Navigation System (Inertial Navigation System and GPS). Participated in design reviews, system development, testing, and validation at the customer site and aircraft installation. * Successfully integrated and installed a commercial GPS on E-2C French Aircraft. * Successfully replaced and integrated the GPS on the Taiwan Aircraft with the latest GPS model providing better functionality, higher reliability and lower product costs. Engineering * Successfully collaborated with supplier for the design, development, test, validation, qualification and integration of a Navy Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (Triton) Mission System Computer (VPX6-185 Dual Core Power PC Single Board Computers based). * Responsible for the E-2C aircraft Navigation System (Inertial Navigation System and GPS). Participated in design reviews, system development, test and validation at the customer site and aircraft integration. * Integrated an off-the-shelf Commercial Global Position System in a French military aircraft resulting in required aircraft flight certification. Modified aircraft wiring and drawings required for interfacing to the new GPS that provides additional functionality. * Successfully integrated a new Full Authority Digital Engine Controller (FADEC) with legacy aircraft interfaces on E-2D aircraft. Participated in supplier design reviews and test to ensure proper interfaces were designed into the equipment and that testing was conducted to meet aircraft installation requirements.
