Key Responsibilities Handled: * Worked with Cisco Campus LAN Catalyst switches-Access (3750, 3560,3650, 3850,2960-L Series), Campus LAN Catalyst Switches-Compact (3560-CX, 2960-CX) Core and Dist Catalyst Switches (6800, 6500 and 4500) and Data center switches (2k/5k/7k). * Also worked on service provider switches for Ethernet access (3400, 3400E Switches). * Worked with Cisco WAN aggregation and internet edge routers (7300, ASR 1k, 6500). * Also worked on Cisco Service provider edge routers (12k series, 7300) and data center Interconnect Platforms (6500 Series) * Involved in Configuring and troubleshooting complex routing (GRE over IPSec, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF and Static routing) * Configuration and implementation of the VPN technology for the Site-to-Site and Client-to-Site connectivity. * Configuration, management, monitoring and overall support of the global web content filtering infrastructure. * Configuration, maintenance, control and monitoring of the WAN equipment. * Actively lead in all Telecommunication aspects (Voice, Video, UC, LAN/WAN), some solutions for improvement in the region, that could apply globally. * Providing level two supports to the Regional IT help desk or equivalent. * Experienced in Data-Center Nexus 7009, 7018, 5548P, 5596T, 2148T, 2224Tand 6000 switches. * Worked on configuring the Nexus 5K Aggregation Switch and Nexus 2K Fabric Extenders. * Involved in troubleshooting of DNS, DHCP and other IP conflict problems. * Worked on F5 LTM, GTM series like 6400, 6800, 8800 for the corporate applications and their availability. * Experience in testing Cisco routers and switches in laboratory and deploy them on site production. * Configuring BGP/OSPF routing policies and designs, worked on implementation strategies for the expansion of the MPLS VPN networks. * Supported Large Frame-Relay, MPLS, E1/T1, ISDN, Analog networks. * Suggesting some recommendations on development of innovative and cost-effective solutions to problems of customers. * Also involved in developing, updating and auditing network documentation. * Scheduling and coordinating installation and maintenance of standard software / hardware on the network and ensures compatibility of all communications and computer hardware / software. Maintaining Cisco Wireless LAN controllers and troubleshoot wireless issues * Test and evaluate network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements. * Experienced in administering and deploying Cisco ASA network firewalls or Palo Alto Firewalls.
