Summary of Qualifications Born in the Midwest and educated in both Information Technology and programming, followed by business management gives me the ability to comfortably run an IT organization with both the profitability of the company, and efficiency of the staff as the top priorities. Every IT decision includes a move to increase profit margins and/or improve the efficiency and job satisfaction of the staff. When necessary I use my combined abilities to work with company executives and IT professionals to ensure a clear translation in communications and direction. I also have experience seamlessly moving companies with aging infrastructure to a virtualized cloud, public or private, to increase speed and reliability, averaging +99% up-time and a reduction in operating expenses. I have deployed off-site backup solutions of several kinds with restoration times of one to two hours for most servers, systems, and communications. My education and training in business also includes the creation and publishing of training manuals which increase efficiency by in allowing the staff to teach and train themselves. I enjoy employing the skills and experience I bring to the table to address the issues businesses face, using my IT and Business Administration degrees as well as a certificate of completion earned of the entire Dale Carnegie course giving me the confidence and ability to help organizations succeed in not only achieving the goals of management and the executives but also improve job satisfaction as well. I have held three jobs since finishing college and have never stopped learning new technologies. I continue my education with certification courses and by studying technical manuals of the latest hardware and software technology. I study anything new that my peers and I see as useful for business growth and efficiency.
