SUMMARY 2 years of BIW design & FEA experience using CATIA V5(>4000hrs), Unigraphics NX 7.5 2 years of Chassis Design experience using Solidworks(>2000hrs), ANSYS SUMMARY: Assisted in design and Manufacturing Chassis for a formula car F-17 Designed and manufactured jigs for chassis welding within 0.003" tolerance Designed and manufactured suspension tabs and reduced weight and cost Designed and manufactured 3D printed GPS mount for electric formula car E-16 CONTRIBUTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: PROJECT F'17: *Responsible for F'17 chassis design and manufacturing with 10" wheels, higher Torsional Rigidity and lower weight targets *Designed chassis in Solidworks & FEA for torsional rigidity, front impact & side impact in solidworks, Hypermesh & Ansys. *Designed and manufactured chassis jig and suspension tabs within a 0.003" tolerance to reduce weight, cost and time. *Assisted in first ever Ergo Jig setup for UTA Racing and developed a cockpit mock up for better driver ergonomics. PROJECT E'16: *Designed and fabricated a 3D printed GPS mount bracket for FSAE Electric car '16 and assisted in vehicle build. *Generated the cost report & E-BOM for a competition in Germany (FSG) *Received Arnold E. Stress analysis considering seismological impact for high pressure gas pipelines Learnt MTO (Material Take Off) material selection process for the pipes and their supports.
