Highlights:

Helped develop test enabling identification of fatigue stress risers in a welded housing. Used the pressure fatigue test procedure to discover a problem with a vendors part and verified the corrective actions, which increased product reliability. Fatigue tests of coils that appeared to have flaw in the tubing, indicated the coils were not likely to have issues, which saved the cost of interupting production from rejecting functional coils and gave basis to the decision to use the coils. Worked on a team, which took five variations of the same compressor family and reduced them to two versions. Refined design of a energy saving integral heat pump water heater, enabling it to cut in half the power required compared to a regular electric water heater.

Companies I like:

The New Chrysler Corporation, General Motors, Toyota
