Description
* Devise Non-Profit Organizations, Grants Compliance & Management, and Small Profit Businesses * Consult and assist new or restructured non-profit organizations with administrative policies and procedures, best accounting practices, streamline processes, eliminate wastes, remove duplication and redundant tasks, recommend modern processes, and general operations setup * Consult and assist with Grants compliance for Federal, State, Local & Private Programs/Donation based funds * Implement SOX requirements to comply with new OMB Uniform Guidance * Assist organizations with payroll setup, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Statements, completion of 990 forms and various government filings * Assist organizations prepare for internal/external audits * Assist organizations with all accounting functions and required services implement and oversee SOX requirements to comply with new OMB Uniform Guidance * Review and approve Board Resolutions for grant applications/modifications/fiscal impact presented to the Boards of Directors' Housing Commission and Housing Authorities Responsible for segments of the Notes section of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) * Conduct audits and site reviews devise and implement policies and procedures for subrecipient monitoring quality controls and risk assessments Responsible for overseeing audits requested by federal state and local governments as well as other funding agencies * Provide training to Commission's stakeholders regarding fiscal compliance with applicable OMB Circulars * Provide update to the Fiscal Department on regulatory changes and updates Prepare Schedule of Federal Financial Assistance (SEFA) for A-133 audit * Manage and oversee Pre-award functions for Commission's grant budgets and match commitments Ensure A-133 compliance Indirect cost allocations and implementation of policies and procedures for direct program costs in accordance with OMB Circulars Code of Federal Regulations and agency specific rules and regulations * Train new staff on grant compliance policies procedures and best practices
