ACCOMPLISHMENTS * Over 20 years with DOD and Army agencies. * Selected by the Army G-4 to bring 74 Army Regulations and Pamphlets up to date, as mandated by the Secretary of the Army in 2 years the number had gone from 30 to 68 percent current. * Consistently edited about 34 publications per year. * Made a major contribution toward NDU Press becoming a bona fide desktop publishing operation, saving thousands of dollars and hours. Also brought skilled design capabilities to both book and cover layouts heretofore the Press used only 2-color covers. * Upon request from the White House I was asked to be a publications consultant to the Office of Consumer Affairs to brand publications format and establish editorial guidelines. * Have also been responsible for various public affairs programs, to include the planning, development, and communication of an organization's programs, policies, and activities. * Won several Blue Pencil Awards from the National Association of Government Communicators. * Recently held secret clearance.
