Accomplishments: Drove kaizens to achieve VSM (value stream map) goals: * Lead Time from 1.3 days to 0.16 (Goal 0.8 days) by reducing WIP * Process Time from 53 min to 36.9 min (Goal 37 min) by eliminating bottlenecks * Plant Final Assembly 30% Floor Space, Reduction (Sq ft) from 60000 to 48000 (Goal 48000) * IFS Multiplex Workcell RTY from 89.3% to 93.8% (Goal 93%) Productivity & Service * Lead and manage resources to produce 49.8% of plant sales equivalent to $49.3MM * Consistently achieved past due goal < 1 day ($450K) at quarter end * Customer fulfillment rate improvement from 92% to > 95% * Supported outsourcing/pitching of the Access 940 Reader product family which resulted in a $150K savings * Assisted VCS model line implementation and improvements resulting in an 18% cycle time improvement (from 78 units in a 7.25 hour period to 95 units) * Sponsored AWO (action workout) to increase capacity from 120 to 300 transition readers per shift Transfers of Work (TOW) * $7.9MM producing $25MM * TOW completed on-time with minimum impact to Customer Recipient of Transition Reader product family from supplier (Rosslare)
