Artesian Place Assisted Living Director of Dietary Services 10/2014 till Present Responsible for the operation and control of the dietary department. My responsibilities include raising the bar of the dining room appearance and food quality operating and directing kitchen and dining room personnel to provide healthy quality food and a fine dining experience to seniors. Controlling food costs and forecasting regarding food production controlling labor costs and carrying out all administrative functions pertaining to forecasting payroll hiring and firing and scheduling. Maintain a good reliable staff by motivation training and promoting as appropriate. Set up and controlled a system which assured quality and portion consistency. Provided daily supervision delegating duties to cover all kitchen and dining room work. Assumed cooking responsibility as needed. Organized and created special events and Holiday events. Commuting to other properties to help with covering chefs duties for that day.
