Duties Specimen collection verify accuracy and completeness of document for patient samples. Accessing and entering medical laboratory test results into the computer system. Centrifuging samples and prepares reagents for testing according to laboratory policies. Perform clinical laboratory tests pertinent to Hematology Chemistry Urinalysis Serology Microbiology Parasitological Immunology and Blood banking etc. Show direction and assisting patient care providers if they need help or consultation. Having skills in screening donors collecting processing and testing blood samples in blood bank laboratory. Responsible for the accuracy interpretation and reporting of all test results according to laboratory policies Adhered standard operating procedures quality control activities and laboratory policies. Maintaining and ordering inventory when materials are needed in the laboratory. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and quality control for all reagents. Keep accurate records of quality control maintenance and workload data according to laboratory policies. Refer problems and unusual results to supervisors and managers. Giving supportive services such as answering the telephone calling stats (emergency and alerting values to the appropriate department or clinician) disposing of contaminated specimens. Participate in proficiency testing activities of internal and external quality controls.
