Summary A competent professional with more than 12 years of IT experience in Oracle Database Technologies which includes extensive exposure to Oracle Database Administration (9i/10g/11g) Performance Engineering, system analysis, design, development, implementation & Support experience. * Experience in Database Administration activities like Configuration, Backup & Recovery, Database Security, Database designing and Query optimization * Experience in configuring and managing high availability solutions like RAC, ASM, GRID, and SCAN. * Hands on experience in Troubleshooting database issues. * Experience in implementing Replication Models (Oracle Streams & Golden Gate GG). * Strong experience of Oracle Patch Upgrade (PSU, Interim bug fix, Merge patch). * Experience in Database Backups, Recovery models and Disaster Recovery procedures. * Experience in implementing database using DBCA. * Experience in maintenance of Databases, creating roles and managing user permissions. * Provide scripts for all sort of modification (table creation, index creation, package creation all sort of alterations ) associated with new release to deployment team. * Extensive experience in space allocation. * Perform Sizing estimations of different objects getting created as part of new releases, monitor organic growth of DB Objects. * Forecasting the space requirement * Implemented and documented proactive monitoring scripts for production databases such as alert log verification, daily tablespace free space monitoring and also for automating database backups using RMAN tool. * Experience in resolving performance issues by analyzing AWR reports, V$ Dynamic performance view, SGA Tuning. * Extensive experience in SQL tuning and understanding of business requirement/frontend application * Providing effective and much appreciated suggestions for changes in the system applications, and gave expert advice as to proper operation Flexible and versatile to adapt to any new environment and work on any project. * Good communication and inter-personal skills, accustomed to work in a team environment with tight schedules and capable of working efficiently under pressure, manage multiple project and cross train sub-ordinates in other Functional areas * Proven problem solving, self-starter and worked individually as well as adapting rapid changes. * Worked on Golden Gate data replication for Active-Active bidirectional implementation and troubleshooting, involved in GG implementation, design and application troubleshooting. * Actively worked on GG Performance and Oracle Patching (PSU, & interim Bug fix patches). * Actively worked with Oracle for Golden Gate performance issue, raised many Oracle SR's and involved various vendors for performance issue till resolution and applied GG merge patch.
