Secure a fulltime position overseeing accounting and finance department for new or established company. Prospector Square, Park City August 2014 - Current Director of Finance/Operations Manager * Review/ manage all accounting and finance for Prospector Square Lodge & Conference Center. * Oversee all accounting, maintenance, housekeeping and front of house staff. * Supervise Rental Program Managers and approve all rental contracts with owners and customers. * Manage owner/tenant billing for maintenance work completed. * Responsible for the Sales, Use and Transient tax filings as well as state and federal income tax filings. * Handle all nightly rental business licenses for 323 units and commercial facilities. * Implemented Standard Operating Procedures, Internal Controls and Customer Information Protection. * Submit monthly P&L statements for Homeowners Associations and Rental/Conference Profit Centers. * Oversee monthly HOA billings and collections. Improved Accounts Receivable by 41%. * Responsible for all lien/foreclosure notices. File all liens. Work directly with HOA attorney on foreclosures. * Responsible for review and distribution of Rental Statements/Proceeds to all participating owners. * Oversee, review and approve bi-weekly payroll. Clarify any budget variances by department. * Main insurance contact with broker, carrier and owners regarding claims, annual bidding. * Set up and manage ACH banking, merchant services and check capture for expedited cashflow. * Maintain and manage all property contracts for service, product or any other management needs. Round House Racing, Spanish Fork Jan 2014 - August 2014 Controller * Oversee all aspects of accounting and finance for Round House Racing and Noble Sports. * Reconcile event participation and registration proceeds for 42 races in 28 states. Anticipate participation at each race is 3,500 people on average for a total participation of 150,000 for all races. * Review and manage all sales and use tax filings for 28 states. * Responsible for the financial management of Franchised/Licensed races in Canada. * Implemented all Standard Operating Procedures and Internal Controls. * Manage and mentor accounting staff. * Update budgets, forecasts and cash flow for 42 races weekly. Update marketing budget monthly. * Create financial packages for Round House Racing and Noble Sports monthly which includes profitability statements for each race. * Manage Human Resources, Benefits program and Payroll. * Bi-weekly meetings with Event Managers to confirm race status and provide direction and solutions for securing vendors, sponsors, equipment and all other aspects of races. * Raise $1.50 per participant for charity.
