QUALIFICATIONS: Retail Sales Management Experience: * Recognize and understand all aspects of business and how they interrelate. * Successfully manage multi-unit stores with annual sales revenue of over 220 million. * Handle advertising budgets, consignment accounts and vendor relations. * Provide forecasting, market analysis, budgetary and profit requirements, balancing and allocation of funds in retail and independent markets. * Maintain product overall shrinkage below company's budgets. * Responsible for achieving P & L budgets over multi-unit stores. Management: * Oversee and direct day-today activities and diverse retail operations. * Supervise directly and indirectly up to 500 associates within my designated market area. * Ensures all associates demonstrate customer courtesy behaviors and provide exemplary customer service. * Provides leadership to drive sales and maximize financial results. * Tour stores daily to ensure company standards for in stock and merchandise presentation including signing and labeling, are met. * Minimizes turnover by being involved with the selection and training process as well as being proactive to foster positive associate relations. Marketing/Sales: * Skilled at recognizing buying patterns and designing sales strategies. * Initiated and facilitated new layout of 68,000 sf store through data and market analysis, sales techniques, regional demands, demographics, sales trends, customer requirements and implemented in-house promotions. * Review product features and differentiation's to enhance business potential. Negotiating Employee and Customer Relations: * Skilled negotiator. Listens to and fully understands all aspects of the dilemma. * Successfully handles difficult clients, vendor negotiations and complex situations to each party's satisfaction while maintaining company objectives.
