COVER LETTER: Dear Concerning Parties I am forwarding you documentation in response to a violation debt that I am being accused of ignoring. I am in no way failing to respond to your request for payment, but as you can judge by the documentation that I am forwarding, that I am not the party that is responsible for this debt. After an accident on 05/01/2012, my vehicle was towed by the request of Direct Auto Insurance, 330 S. Wells ST. Suite 910 on the date of 05/02/2012 for an estimate. After I contacted the Phillips Auto Body Shop located at 4822 S. Kedzie Ave in Chicago to ascertain an estimate, it was clear that the estimate was astronomical and I could not afford to pay for the repairs because the vehicle was no t drivable. I then relinquished all interest in repairing and claiming ownership to Phillips Auto Body and Direct Auto Insurance. The vehicle was in the possession of Phillips Auto Body from 05/02/2012 until 08/14/2013 according the tickets that the Chicago Police Department took pleasure in plastering all over the vehicle. I did not request nor was I informed by anyone that the vehicle was going to be placed at 2920 S. State ST without my knowledge in the middle of rush hour. This is an irresponsible and devious act from the Direct Auto Insurance as well as The Phillips Auto Body and this is where the responsibility for Notice Number: 5168439580 should be placed. I was never contacted nor did I give consent for occurrence. So I am contesting these charges against myself. Again, I must contest these charging being placed against myself for something that I had no partaking in. The vehicle in question was in the possession of the Phillip's Auto Body shop from 05/01/2012 to 08/14/2013 by request of Direct Auto Insurance Company. On 08/14/2013 the Phillip's towing company dumped the vehicle off at 2920 s. State st. without my knowledge, without authorization and without consent by me. I never transferred the car title because I never owned the car. To the best of my knowledge, the Direct Auto Insurance has the title and is trying to circumvent paying the tickets. Again, it is clear as is evident the Chicago Police began plastering the vehicle with tickets as soon as it was dumped without my knowledge or authorization. The vehicle was not in my possession during the time in question and it appears that the party's in question is trying to shift the responsibility to me. Yours Sincerely, Lester Quinn 2920 S. State St.
