Taking pride in these words of recommendation from my former employer, I wish to introduce myself as a prospective Analyst with a potential for optimal performance. I am writing to express my keen interest in applying for the Business Data Analyst position at your firm. I have a great penchant in the field of Business Analytics and Data Science and hence would welcome any opportunities to contribute my acquired cognizance, consulting and communication skills to add value to your company. I am currently working with iLink Systems where my key responsibilities include designing and developing Power BI dashboards and reports for informed decision making by the Executive teams. I am also the PMO coordinator here, who takes the lead in facilitating weekly meetings with various onsite and offshore teams. Over the last two years, I have assisted in establishing a startup- Shoperies in Seattle, WA in collaboration with investors and developers. As the Business Data Analyst for this firm, my entrepreneurial skills and hands on technical experience has been greatly enriched to provide Subject Matter Expertise. Among my several internship undertakings, I have worked as the Data Science Intern for Univar where I designed logistics and procurement dashboards in Tableau 9.0 to analyze data and visualize market trends, strategic alignment and business impacts as reports to the senior management. I have also collaborated with technical teams on integrating multiple data sources to design, develop and manage their SQL Data Warehouse by deploying ETL concepts in SSIS like Star and Snowflake schemas, Facts and Dimension tables, data marts, etc. My contributions to the team were focused on providing advanced query analysis, data tracking and custom recommendations to optimize the strategic initiatives based on data questions. In addition to my work experiences, my graduate studies, academic projects and Extracurricular participations have furnished me with a great deal of confidence and insight to work in a dynamic, fast-paced organization where quick grasp of content and emotional intelligence have to be mastered for success. As an Executive Board member for 3 main Organizations in my graduate school, I have managed over 200 volunteers and spearheaded 11 successful events, thus gaining high appreciations from my colleagues and Professors. These experiences helped me in honing my cognitive skills and served as a stimulating factor to streamline my interests. I have realized that my intuitive thinking and logistics are quite inherent and have augmented with my graduate pursuit. My current projects with recurrent stakeholders' interactions have honed my business modelling prowess while bolstering my technical skills and client engagement capabilities. Hence I am confident that I possess the prerequisites and expertise that will make me a best fit for the position in your company. I welcome any opportunity to discuss my qualifications and learn more about your company at your earliest convenience. I'm currently on F1 OPT visa until June 2017 and I am eligible for a 2-year STEM extension without any sponsorship requirements until June 2019, authorized from an E-verified firm. After June 2019, I will need a H1B visa sponsorship to continue working in the United States. I would really appreciate it if you could accommodate these factors while considering my application. Thank you for your time and consideration. I very much look forward to speaking with you regarding my interest in this position.
