PROFILE TECHNICAL WRITER: Quality System Procedures/Engineering/EPC An experienced Technical Writer with 16 years of knowledge in professional writing, founded in EPC, Government Administration, and Law Enforcement. As a highly driven self-motivated writer, possessing adept organizational and interpersonal skill, I have the proven ability to work compatibly in all levels of an organization. Specializing in assimilation of highly technical job requirements obtained through research, user analysis and SME interview, I distill and communicate the technical work process information, while providing an effective impact on Quality Assurance resulting in procedures, control plans, work instructions, and training materials. ACCOMPLISHMENTS Design and Implement: Vendor Data Requirement Document Distribution System (database) This system includes a control procedure, multiple work instructions and training program. IMPACT: Reduced Vendor Data review/return time by more than half within the first month and provided a management reporting tool for documents received from vendor, approved, rejected, returned and required documents not yet received from vendor. Create and Maintain: Corporate Document Library (database/internet document view) Development of a Library System for all documents used in the operation and administration of an Engineering, Procurement and Fabrication/Construction firm to include control procedures, standards, work instructions and training programs also to include control procedures for creation, revision, review, approval and publication of each document. IMPACT: Library documentation increased 1000% in the first year as a companywide effort to consolidate and standardize in the Corporate Library, making references and corporate documents available via the web. Plan and Expand: Harris County Transit and City of Baytown partner to expand services for the Senior and Disabled Transportation Program As the administrator of this program, finding more/improved services within the parameters of the US Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Block Grant is key. Immediately planning with Harris Co. Transit at inception of the bus program to develop potential user information, route and timetable data for expansion into Baytown. IMPACT: Senior and Disabled Citizen participation doubled by the second year following the partnership agreement, alleviating the need for the more costly and limited taxi funds. & HISTORY
