Profile Over 9 years of experience as LIS /Business Analyst, Project Management, laboratory technologist/ consultant, and software product management. Currently serving as Senior Business IT Analyst at a genetics diagnostic and PRN medical technologist for large academic hospital systems (Methodist Hospital and M.D Anderson Cancer Center). I have extensive experience using Cerner classic and Cerner Millennium LIS system, Labdaq LIS system, Schylerhouse LIS system, SoftLab LIS system, and EPIC Beaker LIS system. I have also provided LIS software product development consultancy to a private healthcare software company. I have also provided clinical laboratory consultancy to private reference medical laboratory. As a medical technologist, I have experience in conducting high-complexity laboratory tests, technical troubleshooting of biomedical analyzers, keeping the laboratory in compliance with regulatory agency (CAP/COLA /CLIA) requirements, and directing the patient testing process in a timely, accurate manner, conducted financial cost-analysis for laboratory testing menu, developed product inventory system. Proficient in utilizing various Laboratory Information Systems i.e. Schuylab, SafeTrace, Cerner, Epic and Customized laboratory Information systems. I have applied my skills in project management by being part of two major technology implementation projects - implementing ETI-MAX Elisa based hepatitis testing system at Empire Clinical Laboratory and DM96 cell imaging system for automatic cell differential at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX. I am currently serving as an independent Laboratory Information System business analyst at Tecnex Software LLC. I graduated with a Master of Science in Clinical Practice Management program from Texas Tech University Health Science Center, Lubbock.
