Extensive planning and project management experience gained through a series of increasingly responsible management positions on a wide range of complex, major international development projects with balance sheet impact. These include a wide range of both oil and gas development projects in the Gulf of Mexico, the North Sea, Latin America, the Middle East and South East Asia on projects including a range of upstream field developments with operating experience and recent consulting work on international projects has provided in depth experience that adds value in planning and executing major projects. The bulk of the experience has been with major operating companies and joint ventures, often including NOCs and has provided a working level knowledge of sub-surface, drilling, economic analysis, JV and Operating Agreements, and supply chain management including extensive use of Letters of Intent to allow the earliest possible start on critical project work during the pre-sanction period while limiting the exposure of both Company and contractors. The combination of owner and contractor experience reinforced with hands on planning and management of large, complex field development and LNG projects in a wide range of foreign countries plus periods with operating and profit center responsibility is useful in developing and implementing execution strategies each tailored to fit the unique aspects of specific projects.
